The Pickering Brook Sports Club has a rich history tied closely with the community of Pickering Brook in Western Australia.  The roots of the club date back to the early 20th century, reflecting the area's development as an agricultural hub.  The club was established to provide recreational activities and promote sportsmanship among the local residents. 

 

Throughout its history, the Pickering Brook Sports Club has been a focal point for the community, fostering a sense of unity and providing a venue for both competitive and recreational activities.  The club has hosted numerous sports, including cricket, football, and tennis, catering to a wide range of interests and ages. This inclusiveness has helped in maintaining high participation rates and community support.

 

 In addition to sports, the club has been involved in organizing social events, fundraisers, and community gatherings, further strengthening its role as a central social hub. These activities have helped raise funds for the maintenance and development of sports facilities, ensuring that the club remains a vital part of the community. 

 

Over the years, the Pickering Brook Sports Club has seen various upgrades and expansions. This includes the development of modern amenities and the improvement of sports fields and courts. These enhancements have been made possible through community efforts, local government support, and fundraising activities organized by the club.  This years marks 50 years since the opening of our current clubhouse. 

 

The Club's commitment to promoting sports and fostering community spirit has been recognized and appreciated by the residents of Pickering Brook and the broader community. It continues to play a crucial role in the social and recreational life of the area, adapting to changing times while preserving its rich heritage and traditions.

Club History

The Club Committee is responsible for oversight pf the operation of the Club.  This group of volunteers includes office bearers and general members, with representation from each sporting section and general interest group.  Their dedication and hard work ensures that the Club runs smoothly and provides a great experience for all members.
